GLOTECH 2027 · The academic track of the AI Hospitality Summit by the AI Hospitality Alliance
Where research meets the people who put AI to work.
A new style of academic conference that puts academics and industry in the same room. Present peer-reviewed research on AI in hospitality and tourism to hotel executives, technology leaders and investors, not only to other professors. Industry leaders come to the academic sessions, and academics join the industry sessions, labs and receptions.
Why this format
The best parts of an academic conference and an industry summit, in one ticket.
Present to the people who decide
- Double-blind peer review by an international scientific committee
- Research sessions, a poster gallery and the new AI Best Practices Showcase, all inside the Summit
- Every submission carries a short industry implications statement that practitioners can act on
- Fast-track review consideration with leading hospitality and tourism journals
Sit in the room where AI strategy is set
- Full access to the AI Hospitality Summit main stage sessions and hands-on AI labs
- Trade show access to AI hospitality vendors and startups
- Receptions with hotel brand, management company and technology leaders
- Research-to-practice roundtables that pair scholars with practitioners
One room, both directions
Academics in the industry sessions. Industry in the academic seminars.
GLOTECH runs as the parallel academic track inside the Summit, at the same hotel and on the same days. Nobody has to choose a side.
- Academics attend the industry program: main stage keynotes and panels, breakout workshops on AI governance, AI visibility, AI readiness and direct booking, hands-on AI labs, the trade show and both receptions.
- Industry attends the academic seminars: Summit attendees are invited into the GLOTECH research sessions and the AI Best Practices Showcase to hear what the evidence says.
- Shared spaces: coffee breaks, lunch, the AI demo playground and the networking receptions bring both groups together.
- Academic session times: scheduled within the two Summit days and announced with the program on February 15, 2027.
