Required for every submission
The industry implications statement
Because industry leaders will be in the room, every submission includes a statement of no more than 150 words that answers one question: what should a hotel, restaurant, destination or technology company do differently because of this work?
The statement is printed in the program next to your session, so practitioners can find the research that matters to them. Reviewers score it alongside rigor and contribution.
Review
Peer review
All papers and abstracts receive double-blind review by the GLOTECH Scientific and Paper Review Committee, which drew reviewers from 28 countries in 2026. Best-practice cases are reviewed by a joint panel of academics and industry practitioners.
Submissions must be original, not previously published, written in English, and formatted in APA 7th edition. Remove author names from the review file. Templates are available on the submission site.
Each accepted submission needs at least one author registered by February 7, 2027 to appear in the program. See academic registration.
